Flight Operations

Activity Requirements

Community Standards

Help new pilots learn and feel welcome in our community
Keep discussions aviation-related in flight channels
Report any issues to staff through appropriate channels

Communication Protocol

Maintain radio discipline on VATSIM/IVAO networks
Use Discord for coordination and non-operational discussions
English is the primary language for all operations

Violation Policy

Our progressive enforcement system ensures fair treatment while maintaining professional standards.

Minor Violations

Level 1

  • Incorrect callsign usage
  • Minor SOP deviations
  • Late flight reports

Consequences:

Verbal warning and guidance provided

Moderate Violations

Level 2

Examples:

  • Repeated minor violations
  • Inappropriate communication
  • Failure to complete required training

Consequences:

Written warning and additional training required

Serious Violations

Level 3

Examples:

  • Harassment or discrimination
  • Deliberate policy violations
  • Disruptive behavior during events

Consequences:

Temporary suspension (1-4 weeks)

Severe Violations

Level 4

Examples:

  • Severe harassment or threats
  • Malicious disruption of operations
  • Violation of external network rules

Consequences:

Permanent removal from Virtual BAW
